A native of Normandy, Romain Hardy has often raced for Breton teams and today considers himself a "Breton by adoption".
SNCF agent until 2009, it was to run under the colors of Bretagne Schuller (2010-2012) that the puncher made himself available from his work.
He notably won a stage of the Tour du Haut Var. He then discovered the highest level by joining the Cofidis training for 4 years.
Particularly in legs on the Vuelta 2016, he plays the stages and the general (27th).
But for a rider, his first formation is often his training at heart, and Romain signs a return to his roots in 2017.
Wearing the polka-dot jersey in Paris-Nice, two top 10 for his first Tour de France and winner of the Tour du Doubs , it was a rich 2017 season for Romain.
