Etoile de Bessèges: the brilliant Arnaud de Lie wins the first stage! With AR14 helmet and EKOÏ Premium 90 glassesIn a finish built for the puncheurs, the young Belgian sprinter from the LOTTO-DESTINY team, won in the most beautiful way by showing strength and tactics. Indeed, when the Danish rider Mads Petersen (Trek-Segafredo) attacked with less than 500m to go, Arnaud de Lie cleverly took his wheel before making a powerful and decisive acceleration in the last bend. The champion underlined at the finish line the work of his team throughout this first flat stage of 160 kilometers (45.47 km/h average). A work that allows him to become the provisional "lieder" of the 53rd Tour du Gard.Voir plus

Last Marseillaise for Maxime Bouetwith EKOI helmet and EKOI PREMIIUM glassesLast Marseillaise for the most Marseilles of this event“The Grand Prix de la Marseillaise is an event that is close to my heart because it takes place at home, especially since this year the Tour de la Provence will not take place. I finished second once in this race which I know by heart, and last year we won it. Just thinking about that memory still gives me chills. Yvon Caer assigned me a role: road captain, I am perhaps the rider who has competed the most in this race. And if 40 kilometers from the finish, Amaury passed the bump, he had to get in my wheel until the line. He listened, did what I advised him, and we played really well on the tactical moments. It remains a great moment in my career, I played my role to perfection, and I take a certain pride in it, in the same way as if I had won the race, for example. We see more and more that the riders who pass the bumps well and have a good burst of speed are going for victory in Marseille, and that moreover this panel is growing season after season”.C: ARKEA SAMSICVoir plus

World Gravel Championshipswith EKOI GARA helmet and E-LENS glassesThe first Gravel Bike World Championships took place in Vicenza, Italy. In this second weekend of October, bike fans had a lot to see! Tour of Lombardy, Paris-Tours, Roc D'azur and Gravel Bike World Championships on the roads of a certain Pippo Pozzato. A course alternating 36% unpaved roads, 18% hard gravel, 1% cobblestones, 17% hard surface and 27% asphalt for a total of 194km with more than 800m of elevation change. This makes it a fairly rolling course. A first edition that left no one indifferent with, in particular, the victory of our ambassador Pauline Ferrand-Prevot of the BMC MTB RACING team. Our ambassadors Nicolas Roche and his brother Alexis realize a very nice race too. For gravel purists, this course was more advantageous for road riders than for pure practitioners. Favoring the arrival of the big names of the professional peloton more used to the great roads of France and the world than to the technical paths where dexterity and flexibility are the key words. This course will have the merit of having brought the first world championships of Gravel Bike, long live next year...Voir plus

We knew we had some good cards to play with Bryan, especially today. When we saw that he was blocked in the final, Piet Allegaert sacrificed himself to be my pilot fish and I gave everything for the victory. Guillaume Martin wins the Tour de l'Ainwith Ekoï Gara helmet and Ekoï Premium 70 glassesAt the start of this 2nd stage of the 34th edition of the Tour de l'Ain, 142.5 km were on the program. 4 difficulties were listed including 2 passage up the Col de Portes and a finish after a final descent to Lagnieu. The Cofidis team had already worked the day before during the sprint to protect Guillaume Martin, allowing him to arrive in the peloton and thus not lose time on the favorites. A revenge on bad luck It was a small breakaway that formed early in the stage. It was quickly controlled so that the favorites could play for victory and the overall classification. At the briefing, the plan was precise : Start riding and displaying their ambitions on the 3rd climb of the day, the Côte de Seillonnaz to put Guillaume Martin in orbit. Around him, Ruben Fernandez, François Bidard and then Rémy Rochas (victim of a fall without gravity during the 1st stage) did not count their efforts to support their leader. In the last kilometer, Guillaume Martin produced his effort in turn. His acceleration is decisive: the Norman can raise his arms, finally, as an illustration of the collective strength of the team. Everyone knows that the taste of victory is rare in cycling, making victory even more beautiful. Guillaume Martin had not won since the Mercan'Tour Classic last year, and now has 8 professional successes to his credit. This moment of joy is also a revenge on bad luck, a few weeks after his hasty departure from the Tour de France due to a positive test for Covid-19. Now, the team will work hard, again, to defend its leader's jersey and give Cofidis another stage race victory this season. They said Guillaume Martin: "I'm obviously very happy to have been able to...Voir plus
