From Spain via the Puy de Dôme, the highest volcano in Auvergne, a mythical place for cycling where Poulidor and Anquetil crossed swords. 5 mountain ranges will be crossed during these 3 weeks.

The first Gravel Bike World Championships took place in Vicenza, Italy. In this second weekend of October, bike fans had a lot to see! Tour of Lombardy, Paris-Tours, Roc D'azur and Gravel Bike World Championships on the roads of a certain Pippo Pozzato. A course alternating 36% unpaved roads, 18% hard gravel, 1% cobblestones, 17% hard surface and 27% asphalt for a total of 194km with more than 800m of elevation change. This makes it a fairly rolling course. A first edition that left no one indifferent with, in particular, the victory of our ambassador Pauline Ferrand-Prevot of the BMC MTB RACING team. Our ambassadors Nicolas Roche and his brother Alexis realize a very nice race too. For gravel purists, this course was more advantageous for road riders than for pure practitioners. Favoring the arrival of the big names of the professional peloton more used to the great roads of France and the world than to the technical paths where dexterity and flexibility are the key words.
