We left Anthony Perez in dazzling form during his victory over the Drôme Classic and here is the 2022 winner of the Nantes event, particularly in the legs (2nd the day after Cholet Pays de la Loire). In a nervous race where the sprint seemed inevitable, he took control of the peloton and perfectly led the promising Axel Zingle who won with a bike ahead of the rest of the pack. 5th victory this season for the team led by Cédric Vasseur!Voir plus

Anne Haug is not on Spanish time on Ironman 70.3 Lanzarotewith EKOI VELOCE helmet and EKOI PREMIUM glassesComing out of the water in 3rd position, she very quickly took the lead on her bike to never leave it and landed her machine 2 min ahead in transition 2. In running, she capitalizes on the discipline that benefits her the most thanks to her physical characteristics and wins the first Ironman 70.3 of the season with a lead of more than 4 minutes. Small observation for ''connaisseurs'', she completes the half marathon in 1h16 (i.e. 3.36min/km on average), a time equivalent to the 3rd man in the race! What a great performance for our ambassador who finished the 2022 season ranked first in the world PTO.Voir plus

Milan Menten (Lotto Dstny) wins the victorywith helmet EKOI AR14 & glasses EKOI PREMIUMThe Lotto Dstny was particularly prominent during the 55th edition of the Belgian classic.35 kilometers from the finish line, around twenty runners took to their heels and started the final cobbled sections with a handful of seconds in advance. At 5 kilometers, they are only 5 in the lead. Among them, we find the solid roller Victor Campenaerts, but the fugitives are taken back at the approach of a stormy sprint marked by the fall of Asgreen and De Bondt. Finally, Milan Menten pulls the cobblestones from the fire in front of the powerful Hugo Hofstetter of Arkéa-Samsic. Nice double for EKOI!Voir plus

Anthony Perez (Cofidis): A gust of audacity on the Faun Drôme Classicwith EKOI AR14 helmet and EKOI TWENTY glassesEpic ! In this last weekend of February, the Drôme looked like a Belgian classic: a hilly course with no less than 20 climbs, gusts of wind to send any featherweight climber into the background and borders at all costs ! In these conditions, you had to be a warrior to find yourself 38 km from the finish at the head of the race, in a group of 16 riders. Among them, 4 men from Cofidis: Martin, Fine, Lafay and Perez. After two banderillas planted by Guillaume Martin on the penultimate ascent of the day, Anthony plays teamwork and tries his luck with incredible panache. Behind, Gaudu, Alaphilippe or even Bardet look at each other and let him go. He digs a gap of more than a minute and will never be caught! A sublime solo victory at the top of a final climb, but with the "Mistral Gagnant"!Voir plus

Kévin Vauquelin (General ranking): The panache of youthWith textile, premium glasses, AR14 helmetAfter 10 podiums in 2022, Kévin Vauquelin confirms the hopes placed in him at the start of the 2023 season. Already at his best during the Etoile de Bessèges, the Arkéa-Samsic rider made his mark during this Azure triptych. He was predicted to be a thunderbolt, and he responded like a boss. The Tour des Alpes-Maritimes et du Var hosted a tempting lineup with several tricolor cadors of the peloton: Thibaut Pinot, Romain Bardet, David Gaudu... Listed among the outsiders, Kévin Vauquelin finally did not tremble during the last two stages, finishing 3rd in each of them. In the game of bonuses and yet the only representative of his formation in the final 50 kilometers, Kévin Vauquelin took his responsibilities by attacking, sometimes, following the right wheels, often. He showed an amazing maturity at just 21 years old. Hats off to the kid! Photo credit: © Léa NespoloVoir plus

Kévin Vauquelin (1st stage): 1st pro victory! With textile, PREMIUM glasses, EKOÏ AR14 helmet4th in the Etoile de Bessèges, the young ARKEA-SAMSIC squad member seized his chance as he approached the red flame on the first stage of the Tour des Alpes-Maritimes et du Var between Saint-Raphaël and Ramatuelle. Thanks to some powerful, well-timed hocks and probably sensing the misunderstanding of his two rivals Neilson Powless (EF) and Kévin Geniets (Groupama-FDJ), the young Bajocasse distanced them and crossed the line, alone. Starting in Saint-Raphaël, the 187-kilometer stage saw a five-rider breakaway form at kilometer 0. That small group had as much as a 4'35" lead. With 10 kilometers to go, six more riders took off. Among them, Kévin Vauquelin, on his way to victory!Voir plus

Tour d’Oman (2nd stage) : Jesus Herrada “crucifies” his adversarieswith Ekoi glasses and Gara helmetIf Jesus Herrada collapses after crossing the line, it's because he spared no effort to let go of his opponents in the bumpy final the Tour of Oman second stage. A stage with 2highlights: First, the attempt (ultimately vain) of the duo Van Boven / Fuentes to give way to the breakaway group. On the other hand, the return of the peloton at 6 kms and especially the final sprint towards Qurayyat (2.5 kms at 7.4%) at the end of which the Spanish sprinter from the COFIDIS formation proved to be the most explosive, outclassing his rivals in the last few meters before crossing the finish line alone, arms outstretched!Voir plus

On the program, the 'Col des Brousses', a first category coast, to climb three times, the last time of which ten kilometers from the line. Distancing in the bumps, Arnaud de Lie managed to return to the leading group 4 kilometers from the finish. Impatient, he then struck the charge 2 kilometers from the finish, in vain. Determined, the Belgian sprinter surprised his opponents and commentators by gushing to the best moments to win "easily". He finished 7th in this 53rd edition. Simone Consonni : Sultan of the 4th stage on Saudi Tourwith the helmet EKOI AR14 and the glasses EKOI PREMIUMA few days after 3rd place in his German teammate Max Walscheid, during the 1st stage of the Saudi Tour, Simone Constonni decided to make ''the powder speak'' and to be at the top in the most beautiful ways. In a worthy landscape of the Quantum of Solace sets, the Italian sprinter thwarts all the plans of the Jayco-Alula team. Yet well brought by cadence, Dylan Groenewegen finds himself, , locked up at first. Launching his sprint more than 200 meters from the line, between 5 and 7%, the "flying Dutchman" is ultimately exceeded 75 meters from the goal by Consonni who, to the tears, crosses the line in front of a Other Transalpin Mattéo Malucelli. Last Marseillaise for Maxime Bouetwith EKOI helmet and EKOI PREMIIUM glassesLast Marseillaise for the most Marseilles of this event“The Grand Prix de la Marseillaise is an event that is close to my heart because it takes place at home, especially since this year the Tour de la Provence will not take place. I finished second once in this race which I know by heart, and last year we won it. Just thinking about that memory still gives me chills. Yvon Caer assigned me a role: road captain, I am perhaps the rider who has competed the most in this race. And if 40 kilometers from the finish, Amaury passed the bump, he had to get in my wheel until the line. He listened, did what I advised him, and we played really well on the tactical moments. It remains a great moment in my career, I played my role to perfection, and I take a certain pride in it, in the same way as if I had won the race, for example. We see more and more that the riders who pass the bumps well and have a good burst of speed are going for victory in Marseille, and that moreover this panel is growing season after season”.C: ARKEA SAMSICVoir plus

And it was the French sprinter of the Cofidis team that has been the clearest. 300 meters from the line, he lit the wick, surprising his helpless rivals and unable to jump into the wheel. A tasty victory for the one who had on seven times had to be satisfied with second places, one, a legendary, against Marcel Kittel on the fourth stage of the 2016 Tour de France. 2022 World Gravel Championshipswith EKOI GARA helmet and E-LENS glassesThe first Gravel Bike World Championships took place in Vicenza, Italy. In this second weekend of October, bike fans had a lot to see! Tour of Lombardy, Paris-Tours, Roc D'azur and Gravel Bike World Championships on the roads of a certain Pippo Pozzato. A course alternating 36% unpaved roads, 18% hard gravel, 1% cobblestones, 17% hard surface and 27% asphalt for a total of 194km with more than 800m of elevation change. This makes it a fairly rolling course. A first edition that left no one indifferent with, in particular, the victory of our ambassador Pauline Ferrand-Prevot of the BMC MTB RACING team. Our ambassadors Nicolas Roche and his brother Alexis realize a very nice race too. For gravel purists, this course was more advantageous for road riders than for pure practitioners. Favoring the arrival of the big names of the professional peloton more used to the great roads of France and the world than to the technical paths where dexterity and flexibility are the key words. This course will have the merit of having brought the first world championships of Gravel Bike, long live next year...Voir plus
